WELCOME TO WORMIE WORLD

Wormie World was started in 2024 and is an annual scavenger hunt based in Sacramento, CA. Hundreds of handmade ceramic worms are placed around Sacramento for anyone to find and keep. The event was created as free way to share art with the community and bring people together over their love of worms and ceramics. In 2025 Wormie World also partnered with over 10 small businesses so they could hide wormies in their stores and promote shopping small. Free worm stickers designed by Karen were also given to the small businesses to give out for free as a part of the event. Brittany and Karen spend all year making ceramic wormies for the scavenger hunt and are SO excited about 2026!

Next year's event with be in October 2026! The goal is to make and hide over 1000 wormies and partner with even more small businesses so we can help spread joy all throughout the community.

Anyone is welcome to contribute wormies to the event! Currently all event activities are managed on the Wormie World Instagram. Hints are posted on the day of the event as reels and anyone can tag the Instagram with their own wormies and hints.
